PIONEERS BAND
PIONEERS BAND Was formed in 1998 by two friends Willy Kuduku
on keyboards and Moses Saburi Mwasantembe
(the late) on vocals. They were later to be joined by the legendary members of the now defunct Forest People Band with the hit song fame “Shangilieni, Harusi”.

Pritt Nyale Mwadori, drummer and current bandleader,
Sammy Wanje, bassist, singer and composer of the hit song “Harusi” and the late Brown Baraka on guitar. After the demise of Moses, Brown and Alex, Willy and Sammy went different ways to pursue their dreams. Pritt Nyale then teamed up with
Umar Ojilong (Motherland bandleader) and together with others they toured
Austria in August 2014 as Motherland Band.
PIONEERS BAND currently performs at Serena Beach hotel every Friday.
PIONEERS BAND firmly believes in the goals and visions of the MMC.
